Students across fourth grade researched Internet Safety tips through Common Sense Media's Digital Passport online program. Each student created a digital poster identifying at least 3 tips to encourage others to stay safe online. Enjoy!
Take a look at Miss Sullivan's class using the Colar Mix app to make their dots come to life! Students have begun to use Sketchup to create a dream house. This activity will take several sessions to complete in the computer lab. After the initial day of exploring the program's tools, students will then create a house that includes a variety of geometric concepts. Be sure to check back for the final projects! Click on the house to take you to the Sketchup website where you can download the free version of the program for use at home. I'm so excited to share our assignments & projects in this space! We're going to have fun this year learning new things and exploring new technologies!! You can scroll down to see what students at West & FFES did during the last school year as a preview!
Fourth grade students have been busily working to complete their SCRATCH projects. As soon as they are completed and posted to our SCRATCH galleries, I'll be sure to post the links here!
4th Grade Students have begun to explore the SmartNotebook software at FFES. Over the next several sessions, students will be directed to create a screencast presentation related to a curriculum topic they are studying in class. Students at West will begin as soon as our computers are upgraded! Check back for examples!
